 Claudette Lee-Roseland: Imagination Unleashed
Friday, October 2, 2020 through Sunday, January 10, 2021. 12:00 pm. Decades of creativity have prepared this beloved Midwest artist for an exhibition of abstract and non-objective paintings. Abstracted naturalistic works define a sense of place in rural areas while later, non-objective works explore color, shapes, and line for their own sake.  Masters as Muses
Friday, October 2, 2020 through Sunday, January 10, 2021. 12:00 pm. In Cedarburg Art Museum's seventh annual exhibition, 65 artworks were selected from 116 entries of 75 artists in 12 states by juror Annemarie Sawkins. "Masters as Muses" reveals the astute choices of 58 artists for the guiding principles of their muses. From an ancient Greek Zeus sculpture to Rembrandt to Monet, Modernists, Warhol, and contemporary muses, artists reveal where their inspirations are derived with muse images and artists' statements.  Collection Focus: Mary Giles
Wednesday, October 21, 2020 through Saturday, January 23, 2021. 12 pm. In its current makeup, RAM's fiber collection is anchored by artists interested in baskets and basketmaking techniques. Mary Giles, with 19 pieces now at RAM and others promised, is one of the most well-represented fiber artists with works spanning over three decades. RAM has been acquiring Giles' work since the early 2000s through gifts from donors, but these pieces have never been brought together in a single gallery space until now.  In Stitches: Contemporary Approaches to Needlework
Wednesday, September 23, 2020 through Saturday, February 13, 2021. 12 pm - 4 pm. Primarily drawn from RAM's collection, the works featured in this exhibition demonstrate contemporary methods of working with materials such as fabric, thread, yarn, and embroidery floss through the use of needles, hooks, or hands. She serves on the Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, and is Vice-Chair for the Speaker's Task Force on Alzheimer's and Dementia.  Third Annual Twin Triathlon
Saturday, August 26, 2017 through Tuesday, August 26, 2081. 8 am - 12 pm. 8 am registration; 9 am start; Noon Awards! Fun event is unique in the Northwoods-8K paddle on North Twin Lake, followed by a 16K bike ride, then a 5K run. Individual ($35), a family or a team ($90). Do one leg, or all three!
