 Fight For Air Climb
Saturday, March 7, 2020. 8 am to 2:30 pm. Come climb 1,034 steps at the U.S. Bank Center to raise awareness for lung health and disease! Set in 1920's Milwaukee, Aram Tomasian is an Armenian immigrant from Eastern Turkey, a refugee of the 1915 Turkish massacre of 1.5 million Armenians. Aram wants to replace the family he lost to the genocide. He chooses a mail-order bride, an Armenian teenager, Seta, who has also escaped the vicious grip of the Ottoman Turks.  It's Like Poetry: Building A Toshiko Takaezu Archive at RAM
Friday, August 2, 2019 through Sunday, July 26, 2020. While unassuming in her disposition, artist Toshiko Takaezu (1922-2011) was a bona fide ceramic superstar who pushed the boundaries of clay in the late twentieth century. Inspired by nature and the environment, Takaezu created work that embodied a poetic balance between art and life. This exhibition in Racine Art Museum's Windows on Fifth Gallery features a selection from the more than 30 Takaezu works now in the museum's collection.  Third Annual Twin Triathlon

Fun event is unique in the Northwoods-8K paddle on North Twin Lake, followed by a 16K bike ride, then a 5K run. Individual ($35), a family or a team ($90). Do one leg, or all three!
