 Brownie Badge Workshop - Programming Robots and Designing Robots
Saturday, March 21, 2020. 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm. The Betty Brinn Children's Museum offers many guided programs that help Girl Scouts meet STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art/design and math) badge requirements. Brownie Scouts attending the Brownie Badge workshop will earn 2 Robotics badges by designing and building their own robots. Participants will receive a Betty Brinn Children's Museum patch and certificate. Museum admission is not included in workshop fee. Be transported for a sense of Paris this springtime through the remarkable work of five master printmakers - Jules Cheret, Alphonse Mucha, Eugene Grasset, Theophile Alexandre Steinlen, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec - which conveys the exuberance of the spirited Belle epoque era.  It's Like Poetry: Building A Toshiko Takaezu Archive at RAM
Friday, August 2, 2019 through Sunday, July 26, 2020. While unassuming in her disposition, artist Toshiko Takaezu (1922-2011) was a bona fide ceramic superstar who pushed the boundaries of clay in the late twentieth century. Inspired by nature and the environment, Takaezu created work that embodied a poetic balance between art and life. This exhibition in Racine Art Museum's Windows on Fifth Gallery features a selection from the more than 30 Takaezu works now in the museum's collection. She serves on the Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, and is Vice-Chair for the Speaker's Task Force on Alzheimer's and Dementia.  Third Annual Twin Triathlon

Fun event is unique in the Northwoods-8K paddle on North Twin Lake, followed by a 16K bike ride, then a 5K run. Individual ($35), a family or a team ($90). Do one leg, or all three!
