Primarily drawn from RAM's collection, the works featured in this exhibition demonstrate contemporary methods of working with materials such as fabric, thread, yarn, and embroidery floss through the use of needles, hooks, or hands. Works on loan from Milwaukee area artists Sharon Kerry-Harlan and Rosemary Ollison expand this conversation even further. Adults: $7 Seniors/Students: $5 RAM Members/Kids: FREE. High heels, county fairs, super-highways, driving lessons, and even new love are on the horizon. Against the changing tide, Beverly, Mrs. Snustad, Mavis, Karin, and Pastor Gunderson are "bulwarks never failing" standing strong in their faith and in their friendships with more crazy antics, more great songs, and more lessons reluctantly learned. Representative Hesselbein is sensitive to the needs of senior citizens. She serves on the Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, and is Vice-Chair for the Speaker's Task Force on Alzheimer's and Dementia.  Third Annual Twin Triathlon
Saturday, August 26, 2017 through Tuesday, August 26, 2081. 8 am - 12 pm. 8 am registration; 9 am start; Noon Awards! Fun event is unique in the Northwoods-8K paddle on North Twin Lake, followed by a 16K bike ride, then a 5K run. Individual ($35), a family or a team ($90). Do one leg, or all three! Beautiful route, healthy fun for the whole family! Registration is encouraged; Participants who register after 8/5/2017 are not guaranteed an event t-shirt.
