Learn, explore and create in the University's art education studio! Engage in traditional artist studio processes to devise printed images using Gelli printing techniques. Your resulting prints can be stand-alone artworks or they can be used in the afternoon session and embedded into Encaustic works using beeswax and pigments. $45 before July 10; $65 thereafter. Tuesday, August 11, 2020. 12:30-4 p.m. Choose your own adventure with UW-La Crosse's Art Adventures Camp for kids entering grades 6-9 in the fall. Choose up to 4 different sessions. Learn, explore and create in the University's art education studio! You will work with a guest Encaustic artist, Carissa Brudos, to explore ancient and contemporary techniques in Encaustic (painting with beeswax and pigments). You may choose to incorporate prints made in the morning sessions or you can try something completely new. $45 before July 10; $65 thereafter. Tot Time features songs, stories, games and other activities for the Museum's youngest visitors. Recommended for children ages 1-3.
